Finding the Rhythm: BlueBallRoom Dance Studio Joins Live Work Play Discount Program

The offerings at BlueBallRoom consists of a wide range of services and classes designed for life’s real moments. Their “wedding dance” sessions are unlike anything else offered in Wilmington. Professional instructors work closely with couples to choreograph the perfect first dance that feels comfortable and polished. Fathers and daughters can prepare for their spotlight moment. They even have packages for the entire bride and groom’s wedding parties, where guests can rehearse together for a routine that adds something memorable to the celebration.

In addition to the wedding lessons, BlueBallRoom’s private lessons give pairs and individuals focused instruction built around their specific goals. They have something for everyone, no matter if you want to improve technique, learn a new style, or prepare for an upcoming special event.

BlueBallRoom even has something special for young dancers, known as their Future Stars program. Future Stars is designed for boys and girls ages 5 to 14, and is an ongoing group class that teaches foundational dance skills while building confidence, coordination, balance, focus, and musicality. Students begin with solo dance instruction, so no partner is required to start. Each month, students learn the basics of four different dances — from Slow Waltz and Cha Cha to Jive and Quickstep. Along the way, children develop discipline and teamwork, form friendships, and choose their own goals, whether that includes performing at group events, competing in dance sport, or simply dancing for fun, fitness, and confidence.

For those who enjoy learning in a social setting, BlueBallRoom offers group classes across a variety of dance styles. The classes create a structured, supportive environment where students progress together and meet others who share their interest in dance.
